JUNE SHOWCASE

June Showcase is the final dance show of the year for all lessons. DanceWorks classes perform with beautiful lights, costumes in a local theatre. Dancers perform five shows in under two days. Each show lasting just over an hour. Saturday night show features many acts, including very popular dad’s dance & senior student tribute. Dancers will receive five complimentary tickets to the performance. HD Digital Download of the show as well as a Souvenir t-shirt & Program with their picture. Although not required, most students participate in June Showcase. Performance opportunities are great experiences for kids. Building self confidence, having fun with friends and showing the whole family what we’ve worked so hard on.

If I take Ballet, will I be in June Showcase?

Ballet students perform in their own performance the Spring Ballet. Aerial Silks and Acro Gymnastics also have their own showcase at DanceWorks. Hip Hop, Jazz & Tap students perform in the June Showcase. Students have a dress rehearsal at the theatre the week before. Giving them a chance to see the theater space and to practice with lights and sound before the big day.

Can I be in both performances?

Yes! Students who are enrolled in both Ballet and Jazz classes will have the option to perform in both Spring and June Showcases. Students will receive five free tickets to all performances. All extra tickets are only five dollars each. DanceWorks does not over charge tickets prices for you to see your little one perform. We encourage parents to bring friends and family to enjoy this very special day. If you would like to try a trial class, we would love to have you.
